6K a year The Northern Valley Eye Care team is looking to hire an optical lab technician.

This is an in-person, full-time job.
Once trained, the position will include the following duties:
Daily equipment maintenance Using equipment to block, surface and finish lenses Inspecting, dispensing, adjusting, and repairing glasses Working with our lens vendor regarding products, pricing, reviewing and questioning invoices, and ensuring that credits are obtained when applicable Entering orders into the vendor's online portal Receiving and sending mail to lens vendor and on occasion to patients Role could be expanded to include working with patients in choosing frames and lens options.
We also encourage cross-training in other areas of the company.
Skills Required:
To be successful in the position you will need to be attentive to detail, the ability to multi-task, and the desire and ability to work as a team.
