The Commercial Loan Processor position performs the administrative tasks related to commercial loan origination and application submission, including providing loan officers and underwriters with borrower data, validating CLAR data, verifying and collecting borrower information through third-party resources, file preparation, preparing legal closing documents and the handling all third party and closing coordination from time of approval to closing.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Processes and reviews commercial loan applications, including renewals and modifications for accuracy and ensures that loan specifics meet PTC product and/or credit policy guidelines (as applicable).
Reviews CLAR/Loan Doc Requests in full for accuracy.
Orders documents from third parties (flood determination, appraisals, title reports, loan payoff statements, etc.
).
Once approved, monitors loan file conditions to prepare for closing.
Obtain required conditional documentation needed, coordinate meeting and closing times.
Coordinates with lenders, and external vendors to collect and prepare all required documentation for closing.
Ensures loan packages are complete and loan documentation correctly represents CLAR commitment.
Monitors loan process for timing; converses with borrower, lender or department manager as needed to provide the most efficient loan processing time possible.
Acts as liaison between realtors, attorneys, appraisers, third parties, underwriting, and the lender/originator to ensure a successful loan closing.
Prepares loan files for closing to insure that bank is fully protected and secured by:
Ensures file has meets applicable regulatory guidelines (Correct forms, timing, and signatures as appropriate) Ensures file has final approval to close.
Verifies all conditions have proper authority to approve, sufficient lending authority, and file documents any waiver of fees and discounts to rate.
Prepares loan closing documents and provides for second review of peer Processors in a timely manner.

Requirements:
Knowledge 1-2 years of loan operations, lending or banking experience Basic working knowledge of compliance Banking/Lending regulations Skills Strong Analytical and Decision Making Skills Organizational Skills Excellent communication skills with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and customer service Computer comprehension (to include Microsoft Office and Internet but not limited to) Abilities Able to retain and apply a variety policies/procedures/regulations Work in a fast paced environment under pressure Ability to multi task and prioritize a fluctuating work load Physical Demands/Conditions Requirements:
General Office/Bank Environment.
Occasional overtime as workload demands.
